Joanna from Development

It’s officially been over a year since Pizza Island announced to the world at large that, after two years together, the lovely ladies who made up the work collective were going their separate ways. So I present a little collection of my favorites from their work in the last non-Pizza Island year. It’s a little mind blowing to think that such a crazy-talented group of folks - Kate Beaton, Lisa Hanawalt, Julia Wertz, Meredith Gran, Domitille Collardey, and Sarah Glidden - were ever housed under the same roof but, alas, all good things must come to the end. I suspect it was probably some sort of epic blow out to do with chocolate pudding. Or 80s sweaters. Or maybe they just feared the 2012 Mayan Apocalypse and now that nonsense is all over they’ll get back together like some sort of Tupac hologram reunion special. Either way, while I’m sad we’ve had a whole year without them, I’m glad that like a retired Batman we’ll know there out there. Protecting the city.
